Lovely studio apartment. Well equipped. Very clean. Perfect for a short stay. It was very hot weather while we were there, but the big windows with shutters kept it cool. Very convenient location in a quiet area near the city. A few minutes walk to the tram station for a short ride into the city centre. Free off road parking.
We wish we had stayed longer. What a find. Such lovely hosts. The building was delightful with spiral stone staircase, spacious room, large windows with shutters and curtains. The room and bathroom were well laid out and spacious. The patio garden was a wonderful spot to sit and have a drink and the host plays guitar and sings. Olivier was very helpful as we needed to see a doctor. He booked the appointment for us. We would definitely stay again. The town of Loches is a delight with plenty to keep you occupied over two days.
The children really enjoyed the playground, mini golf and swimming pool. The chalet was clean and had all the facilities we needed. The staff were courteous. The restaurant had good food and was very convenient for evenings when we didn’t have the energy to venture further afield.
Excellent position near the city centre, close to the train station, bus stops and shuttle to/from the airport. Big room and comfortable bed. Breakfast is OK.
The swimming pool was a definite highlight and so very welcome after a long 60km cycle ride in 30+ degrees. Alexandra met us and instantly set the relaxed tone we needed, providing us with a refreshing bottle of Rose and showing us the walking route down to Montsoreau. The chalet was perfect for our short stay and we only wish we’d had another day to explore the surroundings more as well as enjoy the pool. Highly recommend the creperie in Montsoreau.
We only stayed the one night, as it was not up to standard and not as described. Other residents were not happy. And we are told they are shutting for refurbishment next year. I think they should shut now
The location was perfect for a stop on route to Italy. We wish we could have stayed longer. The bed was very comfy and the shutters perfect for blocking out the light. As a result we slept very well. The breakfast was lovely - lots of choice and everything so fresh. The setting and the grounds were beautifully maintained. We can’t fault anything!
Good clean accommodation in a wooden chalet. Very quiet at night. Whilst not great swimmers it was great having the pool to ourselves. I am sure if our French was better Céline would have been a great hostess. Everything you need in a chalet style stay. Car needed.
