Cathy’s breakfasts were sublime. The hospitality offered by both Cathy and Bruce was exceptional. I especially loved that bird feeders were put up and the hummingbirds that they attracted. What a treat!

Located in the Kicking Horse River Valley surrounded by the Canadian Rocky Mountains, these cabins offer stone fireplaces and antique furniture. The property features guided hiking tours and canoe rentals. Free WiFi is available in the main lodge and most rooms. The staff were fantastic and every little detail was perfect. We were celebrating my partners birthday with a trip around Canada. We were only staying one night and were greeted with a bottle of fizz and it was one of our favourite places out of the trip. Even better than the chateau Lake Louise! Would love to come back and stay for a lot longer.

From the views of the mountains to the cosy and beautifully decorated cabin, this place exceeded our expectations. I don’t think I’ve ever slept so well. Host was great and super easy to deal with. We will definitely be back to this gem of a place!

The property is non-smoking and is located 40 km from Golden Golf & Country Club. The cabin was clean, spacious and so cozy with the fire! We enjoyed our time and were very comfortable. The shower was like a spa!!

The chalet offers rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. The location is absolutely adorable. Quiet, glampingesque feel. Full kitchen and bathroom facilities in each home. The hot tub overlooks the trees and faces the mountains. Honestly, I had no idea there even was a hot tub until I pulled up. Very nice touch, up there!! The bed was super comfy with a very soft duvet and REAL PILLOWS! Comfiest firm pillows, one set a little softer, absolute perfection. I travel a lot for work, and I hate when I forget to bring a pillow because most hotel pillows are not great. Felt like I was asleep in my own bed. 🙏🏼 The hosts are the sweetest, most tentative couple. I did not meet them, but they are available within minutes over messages! They really strive to create the perfect home away from home. Even have a little basket of goodies and recommendations for things to do around town.😊 I loved everything about this cozy space, and I can't wait to come back!

It's a family friendly vacation destination. Will be back in summer someday.

Nicely renovated and offering a balance of original charm and modern convenience. The property owners were available and prompt in their communications which was very much appreciated. The hot tub was a wonderful perk and offered stellar relaxation.
