This was our favorite place to stay in Nova Scotia. Sunset Cabin C was right on the water, quiet and completely private. The room was spacious, airy and light due to its high ceilings and big windows and we had our own little deck to sit out on. It was spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable with a good mattress and excellent crisp cotton sheets. There was a table to eat at and a couch to relax on. The furnishings were more like a town apartment than a country cottage. Good wifi. The staff were excellent and we were able to check in early. We got a simple but delicious meal from the office. Great place to explore Ingonish.

Silver Dart rooms and chalets are situated in a large landscaped garden. All units come equipped with a small refrigerator. The chalets include hardwood floors and a mini kitchenette.
Very comfortable and everything you could want for an overnight stay. The laundry facilities were a great bonus!

The cottages were tastefully done just right, and very clean and pleasant. The people who own them are lovely and very good about giving local information. And a fantastic location.

Boasting free private parking, the lodge is in an area where guests can engage in activities such as hiking, fishing and canoeing. A house full,of history in a wonderful setting with the most generous and interesting hosts. With 2 large living rooms and a well equipped kitchen one couldn't ask for more. We just didn't want to leave. It's on the Cabot trail with easy ( driving ) access to some wonderful trails in the national park and a safe sandy beach within easy reach.

A fully equipped kitchen with a stove is included in all the units. Simply furnished, each has a TV with cable channels. Some open out onto a patio, while others enjoy a wood fireplace. Free toiletries stock the bathroom. It was a nice quiet getaway with a beautiful view

Spacious and well maintained little cabin, with a nice deck area. Beds were comfortable and it was great there was a heater bc that was essential. Nice to have our own bathroom and the shower was good. Nice there was a kettle but no cups.
The location is spectacular..the cottages and cabins sit at the side of the ocean outside Ingonish Harbour..The views are amazing. There are no restaurants within walking distance but take away options are a short drive away and the cottages have full facilities..A truly back to nature experience. I would recommend taking a cottage or cabin and not the motel type room as there is no sound proofing in these...I viewed the cottages and they were fantastic with seperate bedroom and good sized kitchen in living room..
The cabin was really nice and just a short walk to the sea. The heater was a nice addition in the winter months and I'm sure the outside space will be lovely in the summer. There are improvement works going on on site which will make the venue even better.
Ton is a fantastic host as well as a great chef. His breakfasts were awesome. Cabins were clean and functional.

Charming log chalet. Good size. Short walk to the beach which was lovely.
The location was easy to find, check in was quick and simple and the staff was friendly. The cabin was clean and neat, and what they said would be supplied was there, and replenished on a daily basis. The staff was quick to help us out when we locked ourselves out of the cabin at 7:30 in the morning. : ), and the next day when we lost power. (This was our doings) The staff were great for giving suggestions on places to visit, this was awesome because this was a spontaneous road trip.
Chalets were comfortable and relaxing. Loved the finished wood inside. Travelled with aunt and uncle in their ‘70s. Great for seniors and those young at heart. We’ll be back!
