Situated on the banks of the lower Chobe River in the Kasane region, River View Lodge offers rooms and chalet accommodation with river and garden views as well as an outdoor pool.
The rooms and chalets features an en-suite bathroom and a private veranda. They also offer air conditioning, a ceiling fan and tea-and-coffee making facilities.
The staff went out of their way to make our stay special. When they found out it was our honeymoon they gave us a complimentary bottle of sparkling and sent up a private romantic dinner for us with candles etc. Food was excellent. The game drive and boat ride they offered were also great - their guide is very knowledgeable and was able to get us close to the animals including lions, elephants and hippos

Baobab Prison Tree Kasane is 1.6 km from Chobe Safari Lodges, while Sedudu Gate Chobe National Park is 6.6 km from the property. The nearest airport is Kasane, 5 km from the lodge, and the property offers a free airport shuttle service. From the booking and all the enquiries done prior to arrival, the service was absolutely outstanding. The property was beautiful, serene and quiet. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The nearest airport is Kasane, 7 km from Tlou Safari Lodge, and the property offers a free airport shuttle service. Very convenient to restaurant and shopping. Close to attractions and open air markets for souvenirs. Locals are very friendly. Very safe environment. Nando restaurant is a must eatery if you want good tasting local cuisine.

Each unit is equipped with seating area, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a kitchenette, dining area and private bathrooms. All units include a desk.
The breakfast was okay. Another choice of green vegetables would be nice. It is a little too protein heavy. Cut cucumbers, onions and peppers would suffice. Other options of hot drinks would be appreciated too.

Kachikau
Thobolo's Bush Lodge is situated within 14 km of Kachikau, 26 km from the Chobe Forest Reserve.
Guests can enjoy a drink at the on-site bar overlooking the natural landscape where wildlife can often be seen. The property also offers mini-market.
Amazing and very friendly staff who really tried to make our stay extra special. Givemore the chef really surprised us with creative and tasty dinner and breakfast.
The waterhole is exceptional and you can easily spend days just looking at the wildlife pass by.
Muchenje
Located 60 km from the town of Kasane, Muchenje Campsite and Cottages is close to the Ngoma Gate of the Chobe National Park.
Muchenje Campsite and Cottages offers three self-catering units, each featuring an open-plan kitchenette that is equipped with an oven, toaster and refrigerator.
This campsite was recommended to us by other travellers and we were not disappointed as it is an excellent place to stay. The cottages and camp site are located about 15 mins from Ngoma on the Botswana side of the border. We stayed in a self-catering cottage and would describe the facilities as excellent.
The cottage had a queen size bed with mosquito net, a sofa which could be used as a bed, a large ensuite bathroom with an outside shower accessed from inside the bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen. There is also an outdoor deck and table, and a braai for cooking.
The reception has a well stocked shop with food, their own grown produce, and craft items for sale. There is wifi at reception area, plus complimentary tea and coffee, wit the option to buy coffee pods for the coffee machine. Staff were really helpful and organised an early check-in for us – the communication was excellent.
The site also has campsites and ‘glamping’ tents, a swimming pool and a deck overlooking the Chobe river.
We would definitely stay again.

Kasane
African Sunsets (Bophirimo Self-Catering Guest House), a property with a garden, is situated in Kasane, 2.4 km from Baobab Prison Tree Kasane, 4.2 km from Sedudu Gate Chobe National Park, as well as 4.5 km from Mowana Golf Course. There is a private entrance at the chalet for the convenience of those who stay. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. We enjoyed the lovely garden setting of the home we rented. The gardeners kept it very nice and well maintained. Also, the cleaning team was exceptional in their daily cleaning and availability. Also, the host Miles, was very knowledgeable and helped us choose the right person for our river boat cruise. The river guide was great and shared his years of knowledge growing up in the area.
Savuti
Situated in Savuti, Ghoha Hills Savuti Lodge features accommodation with a year-round outdoor pool, free WiFi, a fitness centre and a terrace.
There is a private bathroom with shower in all units, along with free toiletries and bathrobes.
There's a big kitchen with plenty of space, garden spaces to hang out it, friendly people. I got their shuttle from Vic falls to the hostel which was great and was able to get a ride to the supermarket when the driver was dropping people off at their river trip.
Breakfast was fair. There is a supermarket just outside the lodge, so we decided to utilise the self-catering facilities of the chalets. The drive to the game park was an awesome experience. We will definitely do this again.
The location is on point. You have everything you need near Chobe Marina Lodge. The staff is super friendly and are always willing to help. The services all in all are immaculate, room service, shuttle service, breakfast. The rooms are very spacious and well air conditioned.

We made our own breakfast. Sometimes this clashed with the staff who had to prepare breakfast for other guests, also resulting in not enough seats available inside. Fortunately, Kasane's weather is such that outside is usually pleasant. The owner was always on hand and exceptionally helpful with arrangements for our Vic Falls shuttle service, day safari and boat cruise.

The setting on the river is very nice. Their activities (boat cruise and Vic Falls shuttle) are reasonably priced and a pleasant experience. The breakfast was also good. The bed is really comfortable. The room is cleaned dayly.
The spacious chalet offered us the comfort and privacy that we needed. The owner made sure everything is working well and no facilities are missing, paying great attention to the details. We loved the garden, the verandah and the pool and the deck with a view to the river that's just 2 minutes walk from the chalet.
