The Old World charm of the property coupled with 5-star service made for a really exceptional stay. The sumptuous breakfast service provided in the relaxed ambiance of the dining room, and by the lit fireplace, was certainly a highlight. Quiet area with safe and ample covered parking. Owners were very hospitable and communicated clearly throughout.
The cottage was lovely, really cozy, and well-equipped. The bush around us was peaceful and quiet and we felt like we were the only people there. We loved the fireplace, the outdoor braai area, and being so close to the river. It was the perfect weekend getaway!
As a born farm boy, the property kindled fond childhood memories of the sun rising, simply hearing nature, and seeing the sun rays playing on the dewdrops. The cabins are nicely decorated, clean, and functional. Definitely, I would rather stay at Caleb's cabins than hire a room at a city hotel. It is a great short-stay option in Potch.
The owners are so polite and generous. The cabins are very comfortable and cozy, and perfect for anyone who would want to unwind. The farm is very peaceful and quiet, and is perfect for clearing your mind, and getting efficient rest.
I LOVED the peace and quiet. The view from the deck was absolutely stunning. The cabin is beautiful, spacious and clean with everything you need. A great shower, clean linen and comfortable bed. The complimentary tea, coffee and sugar was a nice touch as well as dishwashing liquid to clean the dishes.
Even though the place is secluded, we felt safe. The directions to the place was very clear. A PERFECT place for a getaway!
