The breakfast was amazing. The place is nice and quiet..next to the game reserve..check-in was seamless. It is close to Kings Kloof hiking trail.
For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
The chalets generally look neat and well built but require furniture upgrades as it is dated... the couch was completely shot and creaked.
The location is super convenient to get to.
The staff are super friendly and helpful. They managed to arrange a shuttle for us to a restaurant nearby. The romantic turndown was absolutely beautiful. Thank you!
The cabin/unit has absolutely everything you need - you can just bring a toothbrush and toothpaste.
It is entirely surrounded by nature.
The property is beautiful and spacious.
This was definitely an upper class experience. Delicious cuisine with lots of variety. Beautiful view of the lakes and mountains. Very peaceful location. Pool near my chalet. Easy to follow hiking trails. Spotted giraffe, buck, baboons and birdlife. There was a pleasant breeze which rustled the leaves which made it surprisingly cool for mid summer.
The location in amongst the trees is breathtaking. The cabin is new, clean, spacious and modern. The bedding was also new and fresh. The owners Leenster and Casper were very friendly and welcoming. All the security on the property was assuring, given that it is on a plot in the countryside.
The cabins are quite comfortable. I relished every aspect of the property, particularly the magnificent views and the hiking trails. During my hike, I even had the chance to spot a few animals.
Everything was perfect... We booked hotels room but we were given a chalet, what a great upgrade, we loved it so much it made so much sense.... Staff were amazing n helpful... The facilities are absolutely beautiful.... Pools are clean, just the jacuzzi needs more attention. Breakfast was good . Thank you to Smangaliso who recommended the place... 💯💯
The hosts treated us to a fantastic breakfast every morning. Plan to try dinner options next time. The log cabin is private and the view is great. The fireplace certainly kept us warm on the cold nights very cozy. The Kitchen is well stocked and made us feel right at home. An abundance of restaurants and shops are only a few minutes' drive away. The Rhino and Lion Park is worth a visit. We look forward to staying again. Definitely recommend.
