Free transfer was great and easy to find, they also communicated very well. Room was nice and clean and pre heated which was a nice touch. I was only there for a few hours before catching my next flight so only slept was it was already about 9pm when I arrived, so couldn't make sure of what looked like stunning facilities.

The Lodge is beautiful and while there, you completely forget that you're in the city, which we loved. David, our host, was very friendly and accommodating. The cottage was cosy, beautifully decorated and comfortable. We especially loved the fireplace and love spending the evenings infront of it watching movies - great, since the weather was freezing!

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
The staff are so pleasant especially Justice who is an asset. So is the lovely manager/receptionist whose name I’ve forgotten. Prepared a very nice packed breakfast for us to take on shuttle as we had to leave before dining room opened.
Perfect for an overnight stop over between flights. So close to the airport, about a 5 minute free shuttle ride. Communication was stress free through Whatsapp to arrange. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The whole place and room was spotlessly clean, beautiful pool area and garden. Dining room had cosy fireplaces to enjoy an evening meal - buffet dinner was delicious. Safe little haven in Joburg. Staff have even allowed us to store a surfboard there for a week. Thank you Sunrock, we really enjoyed our stay :)
