Beautiful terrace with splendid views. Good place to just sit and gaze in rest. The lodge is tiny and cozy and the contact with the owner is good; easily accessible via whatsapp and helpful. The formula with daily fresh bread and basic breakfast facilities is a very nice idea. The location is in the middle of the Serra da Estrela, so everything in the park is in reach. We had a lovely time here and will definitely return if we are in this area again.

The house is lovely, newly remodeled old place, completely furnished with special details that makes the stay very comfortable. Perfect for the hot summer days, maintain a cool temperature. You have everything you need included some typical Portuguese treats from the host. The house is situated a walking distance from a river beach and from some other beautiful natural spots in half an hour driving distance. Rosa, the host, was very gentle and attentive, replying quickly to our contacts. A wonderful stay, we will return!

Its is absolute paradise accomodation in privat lower chalet.. for those who seek quiet private place to calm down and relax. this is the place.. absolutely charming. In the middle of the summer there was still enough of water in the stream to offer the best possible wellness to us.
It was a very spacious chalet and had a lot of facilities, like a dishwasher, water kettle, oven etc. It was clean and the owner responded fast. The location is great to visit the Serra da Estrela.
We got a free upgrade to a private with ensuite which was great! In general it's very clean, they have a small kitchen. Breakfast was good and the location on top of the mountain is just amazing! They've got a fireplace in both buildings which is a nice extra aswell.
The beds were very comfortable and the room offered plenty of storage. the shower was decent which is vital things for us. the room was always very warm so great for our kids and myself who’s always cold. we loved the fireplace as it was cold when we were there. It was always going and made our stay memorable.
