For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
An interesting, period property, well preserved/refurbished to a high standard. Lovely interior design, both in the room as well as the hotel amenities (waiting rooms, bar area with live fireplace). The breakfast selection was definitely above average, with a variety of hot, cold, sweet and savoury dishes to choose from. Live music in the evening was a pleasant surprise. All of the staff were extremely polite and helpful at all times.
Great location of the camp, close to the city center, very close to the beach. A comfortable cabin a good equipment for five people. Basic shops close to the camp. Quite environment, clean and safe surround of the cabin.
Location close to the beach but outside of central tourist area, fully stocked even with a baby high chair and a basic wind barrier for the beach, large balcony to dry clothes, relatively dark shutters to sleep in, private parking spot right in front of the building
