Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

The bathroom was beautiful, bed was comfortable, had cabinets to lock your valuables in the room (need your own padlock) and there was aircon in the room. Walking out you looked on to the pool area which was nice. It played music until 10ish but then would be quieter in the evening. This is different to some other hostels in Huacachina where I know some people did not sleep well. Amazing location right on to the oasis and to walk up the dunes. Food and drinks were great.

We stayed for one night in Huacachina (more than enough). The accommodation has a nice pool and breakfast is included. The tent itself is quite basic with a bed, a cabinet and a fan (not needed when we stayed). It is the last hotel in Huacachina so you are close to the dessert but a bit more far away from the party hostels (which was perfect for us)

The room was a great size and offered ample storage space. The property location is also good, right in front of the oasis (which is a relatively small place so all hotels will feel central). There is a grocery shop available just 1 min walk away and many restaurants are nearby. They offer a shuttle service from Ica (rather costly at 30 soles for 10 mins) and also tours.
