The most tranquil, sublime mountain setting imaginable. You can watch pairs of geese from your window glide across your private lake. Our kids loved kayaking on the lake, the hot tub, log fires, the steam shower, walking to the river, tobogganing at Mt Hutt, the local hot springs… we did too. What’s not to love.

Second time back to Yuki's and we love the awsome scenery that surrounds you. On a weekend that cancelled all skiing, the chalet was a great place to hole up, catch up with friends and use as a base for our hiking, exploring and golf. The main bathroom remains simply amazing.

Beautiful quaint cottage that was perfect for our 2 nights exploring the Methven and Mt Hutt. Red wine, wood burner and the opportunity to feel off grid. Would highly recommend and will be back!

Perfect location to daily commute to the Mt.Hutt ski fields. Super clean room and very comfy bed. The hosts Warren and Lesley are super friendly and know how to make guests feel right at home. Highly recommend this motel - we stayed 2 nights and everything was just perfect. Thanks for your warm hospitality 😊
Home away from home is 2.minutes from the centre of Methven and 3 minutes from Opuke Spa. From the backyard, you can see Mount Hutt. It is super spacious, clean, warm and inviting. And the beds and linens were super comfortable.
Perfect weekend ski retreat, warm welcome at reception on arrival . Spacious third floor studio room and a bath. We had a roast meal in the restaurant which had couches.by the fire and later had skiers winding down after an epic day on 83cm fresh snow. I loved the room plenty of space and warm . Wandering down town to Opuke hot spring in the evening. Complementary breakfast offered from 7.15am makes it good value for luxury feel.plenty of free parking , I caught a bus from door to Mt Hutt.
Rooms were very spacious, clean and comfortable. Very friendly staff and pretty good breakfast spread including warm options. Also very convenient for taking shuttle bus up to snow.
Lovely home, well equipped and well thought out design and all the comforts one needs for a relaxing comfortable stay. Cabinet full of different games was awesome!
Absolutely loved the super friendly staff. Susi and her team are amazing. Everything was super clean and tidy. The room service came daily. They have a washing machine and dryer you can use for free, a storage room for your ski gear etc and a drying room for your wet clothes, gloves and boots after skiing. A lovely guest area with a pool table and fridge. The breakfast/dinner area has a lovely cosy fireplace and great homemade jam. Nice short drive to Mount Hutt and the hot pools are just around the corner.
