Location is superb, especially when you rent bikes it’s a great spot to go into different directions from. Some great routes there.

Layout of the chalet is very compact but it had everything we needed.
Location is quite convenient. There is a shopping centre nearby and the distance to the beach is still walkable. It was also fairly quiet because the chalet is behind a row of houses.

Cozy cabin surrounded by animals. Nicely decorated interior. The hosts could not have been nicer and helped us out with our bicycle hire.

Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
Very unique property in a beautiful city. Each room is unique and we loved the vaulted ceiling and wooden beams in our room. A Labour of love for the owner whose mother used to run a dance studio on the premises. Each room has a record player along with a selection of vinyl. Parking nearby in a park house is heavily subsidized.
The rooms are recently renovated and look really nice and clean. Everything you need was there for you like a towel, shampoo etc. The staff was really friendly and helpful and they even gave us shuttle bus tickets to the festival for free. We had a great stay and would absolutely come here again when we need a stay in Alkmaar!
Close to tourist attractions and downtown, it’s good to use fireplace as well.
