Best place we have stayed during our 2 months in Sri Lanka! It was our last stop of the trip and I’m so glad it was at Ali Adi.
Asela was the most attentive and kind host, he really made our stay amazing, going out of his way to find out what our favourite Sri Lankan meals were and make for us. His recommendations of his home village that helped us decide what we wanted to do while in sigiriya.
The location was so nice! Tucked in off the main road in the middle of the trees, it was beautiful, super peaceful and beautiful lights at night in the trees. He’s in the process of building a tree house so very excited to come back one day and stay there! So much love and work put into this place.
Big room, amazing water pressure (hot water too!) which is hard to find in Sri Lanka!

The unique character of staying in a treehouse made this a stay to remember. The treehouse had a stunning view of lion rock and pidurangala. The staff were amazingly helpful, offered us reasonably priced tuk tuks to town and even further afield&even picked us up later. Breakfast was delicious and varied, and even available early in the morning. We even managed to use the pool of the hotel next door for a small fee which allowed us to cool down after a really hot day! There was so much wildlife around!

loved everything about the property. Food was good. staff were very courteous. room was immaculate, furnished tastefully and equipped far better than most of the reputed hotels in SL, linen and towels smelt so clean and fresh and everything was so spotless ( hats off to the cleaning staff ). Also loved the seclusion of the chalets from one another and the greenery surrounding the property, had a real jungle vibe to it.
Exeptional place, great location, 5 km from Sigiria. I had whole chalet for myself. In the garden is swimming pool and in the morning lovely breakfast is served. The owner is very helpful and he helped me to arrange my trips to Mineria, Polonaruwa, Sigiria rock and Pidurangala rock. He also gave me very useful tips for travelling in Sri Lanka. The accomodation offers free bicycles. You can also rent bike or tuktuk. The owners family is very nice and friendly. Totally recommend!
We stayed in the wooden cabin and we were very comfortable but definitely appreciated the mosquito nets!

Amazing place to stay if you plan to go to Sigiriya. The staff is incredibly hospitable and will help you with anything you need. Location is not super close to restaurants but easy to reach by tuktuk. The rooms are individual wooden cabins which gives sense of privacy. It was nice to spend time in the pool after hiking and the breakfast was delicious! They also helped us with getting the transfer and bus to Kandy.
Authentic wooden huts, you can’t be more in nature than this. Beautiful area, view on Sigiriya rock, peaceful and quiet. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable, there was a mosquito net on it. Super friendly and helpful owner, also provided accommodation for our driver.
The Ottuna Guest House is simply magical. We were a group of 4 who stayed in the wooden chalet, Dinesh and his parents were a tremendous host and so friendly. Loved everything about the place, right from the ambience, cleanliness, food and hospitality. Would love to stay here and highly recommend this place.
