Shantiniketan Mountain Home, hotel in Almora

Located in Almora, Shantiniketan Mountain Home provides free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden and a shared lounge.

Shantiniketan is a charming mountain home that combines tranquility with breathtaking views. Nestled amidst the lush forests and scenic Himalayan backdrop this home offers an idyllic escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Each room is thoughtfully designed with warm interiors. The shed is my favourite part of the property. It invites you to unwind and take in the natural beauty. Perfect for nature lovers and peace seekers. Whether you’re reading in the shed or enjoying the sunrise over the mountains, this place feels like a serene sanctuary.

Little Himalayan Abode, hotel in Almora

Located in Almora in the Uttarakhand region, Little Himalayan Abode has a balcony and quiet street views. Featuring mountain and garden views, this chalet also offers free WiFi.

The property is decently maintained and clean. Caretakers are kind and offer home-cooked meals at additional minimal cost. It's best suited for someone who looks for a calm, isolated place with a sense of security with people living a few meters away. The best part of the stay is the view! Nothing disappointed my expectations.

Simba cafe & lodge, hotel in Almora

Offering mountain views, Simba cafe & lodge in Binsar offers accommodation, a terrace and a restaurant. Pantnagar Airport is 143 km from the property.

It was the perfect stay amidst the woods with nothing but dense forests around. Even then, the location was great as the view was amazing - Himalayas from our room and jungles all around. The Binsar Mahadev temple is also right beside us. The staff was extremely nice and the food was great. They had a lot of options on their menu. The rooms were nice, big, clean and comfortable.

Nice peaceful place to stay if you are looking for a relaxing vacation in the lap of nature. Caretaker is always welcoming ready for any help with a smile. Food is superb as caretaker is always there to prepare things of your choice. Recommend all to do stargazing at night if the sky is clear. Mr. Sunny, owner of the villa is an extremely helpful person. Must stay at Villa Kailasa in case planning to visit Mukteshwar.

All cabins in Almora
Looking for a cabin?
For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

The chalet was simply beautiful. There are 2 rooms, 1 kitchen and bathroom. They have an outer area to sit and relax in addition. The view from the cottage is serene. A very peaceful stay I must say. You have to do a small trek to reach this little abode. Lights inside the cottage are dim but that is manageable. If you're looking for a quiet, peaceful and relaxing location then go for it.

Loved the entire cosy setup with all essentials needed for basic comfort, don't expect luxury as the price point is quite affordable. The wonderful view of the Himalayas is a huge plus point and the great food cooked by the caretaker. I truly enjoyed my time in the chalet
