Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

Elaine and Sean were most obliging, very hospitable with a wee run into carlingford , was no bother to them . and the layout of the rooms was excellent, had our own patio doors like most rooms out to the courtyard and parking . Residential day room was a lovely log cabin at the rear with a raised private outdoor seating for just chilling and taking in the time . This was my partner's 2nd time and we are already planning for the next trip . Back .

The accommodation was a wee gem! We were very close to the village and was was of an excellent standard. Our rooms were chalet type with a private courtyard. Fantastic for having a beverage outdoors in the sun. The rooms were spotless and had everything we needed and more. Breakfast was lovely, cereals, fruit juice etc followed by a hot home cooked Irish breakfast.

The location was perfect. The view is amazing and the space they have. The outside garden overlooking the Sea and Port. You can light up the fireplace at night makes it even better. Sunset and Sunrise are amazing. It's about 2 mins drive to Carlingford town centre. Room is very clean and spacious and the hosts are very accomodating.

This is luxury at very affordable prices. Four poster beds in all the rooms, beautiful linens on the beds, as well as many old wooden furniture pieces. What a great night's sleep! Elaine and her husband are so welcoming and fun - laughing all the time. Breakfast was a delicious treat, and her French press coffee was heavenly! We only wished that we would have stayed more than just one night.
