Sunny Cabin, hotel in Tintagel

Set in Tintagel and only 500 metres from Bossiney Cove Beach, Sunny Cabin offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking.

Easy access with parking on site for the 5 separate accommodation units. Sunny Cabin was down a short gravel slope. We loved the quiet location, looking out on a well kept lawn area. Seating outside is a metal table and 2 chairs, with 2 loungers also available. Well stocked kitchen with all you would need, although I took tea towels, washing-up liquid and scourer, it was provided. Also very welcome were the Cornish biscuits, milk, Cornish teabags and a Nespresso machine with a supply of pods. Comfy bed and plenty of towels. Log burner with a supply of logs, but we were very fortunate not to need it as we had a lovely sunny week in Sunny Cabin! If you want to explore further by bus, the bus stop to Bude/Wadebridge is right outside.

The property was extremely well equipped and the owners had thought of everything we needed including heated washing airer and everything we needed in the kitchen to cook family meals. A well laid out property and comprehensive information before our arrival about the property itself and surrounding area. Would not hesitate to book again. We were a group of 5 and there was plenty of room for everyone.

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. The cabin and location was very pretty. Cabin had all home comforts. Very quiet area with just the wildlife chirping and mooing away, very relaxing. Reassuring to have a reception area to speak to a human in person if any issues came up. Grounds are beautifully kept.

The shepherd’s hut is in a private and quiet location but within walking distance of shops, pubs, tea rooms and coastal paths. The hut was comfortable, well equipped and very clean and the hot tub was lovely after a day’s walking! Simon the owner was really friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place.

Lovely old, quirky historic building full of character. Loved the shutters at the window and decor of the room fit with age of building, with original fire place as a feature. Complimentary biscuits and tea/coffee etc were good quality and plenty provided. Staff were attentive and all very polite and accommodating. Location was ideal for visiting the castle or walking the coastal path.
