Providing a garden, barbecue facilities and free WiFi, Lush Lodge -Home away in Telford is a recently renovated holiday home 4.4 km from Telford International Centre and 7.1 km from Ironbridge Gorge. The property has garden views. The property is non-smoking and is located 30 km from Chillington Hall.

The property was accurately depicted and impeccably maintained. Everything was in place without any omissions. Although we encountered a minor issue with the door code, the hosts promptly provided instructions upon contact. We chose to stay there for our wedding anniversary celebration in Telford, and the hosts graciously left a card and wine for us, which was a thoughtful gesture.

Looking for a cabin?

For active travelers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and with kitchen facilities, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found other places in the world. Characterized by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing vacations.

Dirty bedding, unhelpful staff. When asked for more pillows got told they were on a shortage. Net curtain damaged which nent curtain had to be shut for privacy......on a lovely sunny evening. Dirty bedding which I had to change at 10pm at night. Hairdryer had not been pat tested for 2 years and when attempted to use sounded like pieces were loose inside and made an awful noise. Mentioned to staff.......nothing got done. Will never use this chain of hotels again.

Lovely location. Very peaceful and tranquil. It’s a very cosy hut. Great views and lots of space! Loved the ducks walking around and the sheep in the fields. The lodge is a great space and has great potential.

Breakfast was excellent. We arrived quite late. The kitchen had shut early, but we’re asked to re open so we could eat. We were really grateful for this, as we’d had a long journey.

Front of house staff were very helpful. The front of house was trying to find a replacement room because of the window but was struggling to find a twin room so we just left the window shut. She did try though.

We struck gold when we chose to stay at the Huntsman. Refurbished to a very high standard and providing the perfect blend of country pub, a stylish restaurant and luxurious accommodation. The staff were friendly and efficient throughout our stay. The Bar offered a good range of draught beers and a well stocked wine chiller. A cosy atmosphere enhanced by the logs burning in the feature fireplace. The restaurant meals were cooked, presented and served to a standard way above our expectation

Staff were amazing and very friendly and welcoming. Very well covid equipped with a sink at the door as you arrived to wash hands. Twin room was surprisingly big and had everything you could need including a very well stocked tea tray. We arrived after the kitchen had shut so couldn't have a meal but were offered use of plates and cutlery if we wanted to bring a takeaway in to eat in the bar. Breakfast was lovely. Sausages and bacon tasted like good quality and the whole plate was grease free.

Really friendly owners (and dog!). Peaceful area but close to the town so you’re not in the middle of nowhere. The cabin was spotless! Underfloor heating is incredible, especially after a walk round the farm. The hot tub was wonderful. We will definitely be visiting again.
