Accommodation was lovely, clean and spacious. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was very well equipped and the thoughtful milk, bread and eggs made a yummy breakfast!
For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
Lovely Shepherd’s hut with a lot of attention to detail, welcomed with a bottle of fizz next to the preheated hot tub. The owners have really thought of everything including sage for the chiminea. Very clean and nice and secluded.
The room was comfortable. I could park outside it. I got 20% as a guest off the pub food menu. Although there was no reception for the rooms once the pub was shut, it felt very secure with only card entry doors. There was a Greggs across the road where I could get coffee and breakfast on the go, as I had to leave very early.
Very warm friendly staff, took very good care of you (thank you Rebecca), learned a little about the history of building, like the original Georgian period exposed features like fireplace, extremely good value, comfy room, everything you needed, brilliant breakfast (best choice ever) - what's not to like.
