We travelled with our grandchildren and were made very welcome, the treats on the beds for the children was a lovely and thoughtful touch that was really appreciated

The property was amazing the entrance was gated with parking and a fab pathway to the 4 rooms we had 3 ! Stunning location ! Had a separate room for breakfast which was fully stocked , trays to take to room if weather was good which ours was you sat on the individual tables outside every room ! Lovely hosts were there for anything we needed ! At a wedding in riverside barn we certainly had the best accommodation on speaking to other guests at the wedding 10/10

In a beautiful, relaxing setting. Lovely lodge, well thought out with lots of extra toiletries, towels as well as the usual. The fire pit and barbecue are a nice added extra but unfortunately the weather didn't hold out for us to use them. Very friendly hosts who were able to answer any questions. Little one loved the place and seeing the ducks. Dog friendly too.

When you walked through the door you could instantly tell that the house was clean and looked after. The beds were comfortable and the living room area was lovely too. The host had even put milk in the fridge which enabled us to have a cup of coffee on arrival. 10/10 for this property. Many thanks 👍

Made to feel very welcome , the first time we have took our little dog away and she was made to feel very welcome . Tony was a brilliant host and the location was great . Hopefully will be back .
For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
The room was like a captain's cabin, had an antique bed! Breakfast absolutely cracking, especially the sausages. Lots of choice. Shirley and Gary are excellent hosts and quite the double act!
First time we stayed here bed was very hard shortage on pillows shower didn’t work properly water struggled to come out bedroom door didn’t lock had to slam door and there was a rock club behind our room and it kept us awake all night due to loud music and drums couldn’t shut the outer window either due to another window locked on inside
The staff were very nice and helpful, we had a problem with our window not shutting and it was blowing a gale at 9.30 at night, we were found a different room straight away.
Lovely apartment, very clear and modern, particularly a fan of the window shutters!
Only downside is that the flat is up a couple of flights of stairs without a lift, but no bother!
So friendly on arrival, showed us to our room , room was spotless, very modern , warm & cozy , shower lovely and hot , breakfast looked good hut we didn't have it as going out ,
Fantastic apartment in a fabulous location. Parking was literally outside the front door. The owners were very helpful prior to our trip and provided a cot and a highchair. The apartment had everything we needed and was close to all amenities and some great restaurants. The windows all had shutters, so it was dark at night and we weren't woken by the light. If you're travelling with children you won't need to take your own black out blinds. We will be booking again next time we stay in that area.
The room was a good size, with a little kitchenette area. USB socket by the bed but only 1 bedside cabinet. Lift in the lobby very helpful as I have mobilty issues.
Well the room was OK apart from window wouldn't shut front lord st view I will stick to the Royal Clifton in future as I'm a regular there but thought I'd give e The Scarisbrick a try never again
