For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

Lovely apartment, very clear and modern, particularly a fan of the window shutters! Only downside is that the flat is up a couple of flights of stairs without a lift, but no bother!

Fantastic apartment in a fabulous location. Parking was literally outside the front door. The owners were very helpful prior to our trip and provided a cot and a highchair. The apartment had everything we needed and was close to all amenities and some great restaurants. The windows all had shutters, so it was dark at night and we weren't woken by the light. If you're travelling with children you won't need to take your own black out blinds. We will be booking again next time we stay in that area.

It was a great old building with a grand reception area. Nice big room with a hallway and no noise coming through the walls. Everything clean. Unfortunately the restaurant shut at 7 so can't comment on this.

Really big hotel, clean, bedding and towels white as white. Comfortable beds, friendly helpful staff. It's such a shame it is not used to it's full potential, empty cabaret/dance room, bar shut, it could be a right little money spinner if they just tried to improve facilities.

Very Central , room clean with good bathroom, however mirror light did not work , reported it and still did not repair the light, needed the light for shaving etc. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast in Hotel over the road, breakfast basic, not value for money and somewhat disorganised. Good restaurant attached to Hotel, but shuts at 9 pm.
