    room spacious. décor reasonable esp. the window shutters. the views are quite good too. tv and heater worked fine. bottles of water by bed are a nice touch. Breakfast on second morning was quite tasty - though cooked ahead of time and then re-heated.

    This is my third stay here, the hotek is in a great location. Friendly staff as always. Good sized room. I couldn't get the window to stay shut but luckily wasn't an issue as was nice weather. This was my first time adding breakfast, it definitely won't be the last. I would highly recommend it. Really lovely enjoyable breakfast for lovely views too. This is my place to stay when I come to Southend, I can't wait to stay again.

    Easy access. Lovely and spacious house with joyful interior design. Dedicated parking space. Big rooms and very nice spacious bathroom with both shower cabin and bathtub.

    A very beautiful building at riverside, bathtub equipped. Absolutely quiet, I didn't shut the window while sleeping. And the dedroom is very wide.

    We had a bath, the water came through Hot, the bed was comfy and the heating worked. The bar was open and fireplace roaring.

    We were locked outside around 1am for almost 2hrs. We had a family party there we went to drop our mother when we came back to do was shut. We called all the numbers on the door and no-one answered almost 2hrs outside freezing cold, we had to look for fire exit door to get in. Very disappointed.
