The property is around 24 km from Ageas Bowl, 26 km from Southampton Cruise Terminal and 27 km from Southampton Guildhall. The property is non-smoking and is situated 19 km from Portsmouth Harbour.

The town house was fully equipped and very clean. The bus to and from Gosport Harbour is on your doorstep. Perfect. The parking spot at the rear of the building is made for English cars 😁 or foreign drivers with parking skills🤭. But it is yours and very safe. You need a car to visit everything you want to see and do, because there are no shops in the neighbourhood.

Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

Staff were super friendly, breakfast was lovely and there was a bus stop just outside the door to go into Portsmouth central. If you just fancy a takeaway or the wether is nice to sit on the pier would highly recommend The Old Pier Hut great food and value for money

Becketts was a great B&B. It's clean, quiet and almost completely panelled in wood. Felt more like a cabin. It's really quiet, despite being just by the road. The staff are very good. I'd give a special shout out to Mia - excellent customer service, all through my stay. Thank you.

Nothing. It was disgusting. Dirty. The room was so small I couldn’t put a case or clothes anywhere as no draws or hanging space, it smelt of dog, damp & the lift & corridor smelt of rotten cabbage, the eating area was dirty. vending machines were empty, I was so disgusted we left after half an hour, it was not as advertised and for £340 so over priced, we went straight to a different clean hotel with a much bigger room that cost less, to say I felt ripped off is an understatement, it needs shutting down.

Grat location for gigs in the nearby Guildhall. Very comfortable bed. The room is tiny but it does the job if you're there for one night. It has the vibe of a cruiseship cabin and is a similar size.

For £164 for 1night I expected a bit more, the room was ok, although there was a big rip in the net curtain, the room just generally looked dull, the shower was just big enough for 1 person but you had to shut the bathroom door to be able to monuver into the shower, the best part was the breakfast in the morning, alot of veraity

I was able to park earlier using the permit from reception and check in later. We stayed in the cottage which was a nice surprsie as we thought we would be above the pub that is shut currently for refubishment. Staff very welcoming and explained everything that we would require for our stay.

Room was comfortable , decent size and liked the fact it had tea/coffee making facilities plus a chair. Bathroom was good size but could do with an update. It was nice we could open the window although it was very noisy from the bar opposite until early hours of the morning even with the window shut. Breakfast was ok in the morning, Staff were really friendly and helpful.

Location is not bad being 15 min walk to either Gunwharf area or going the other way to Southsea. Parking on site is limited but if you are fortunate to get a space then £5 per night is reasonable. Good breakfast but if you had to pay as you go then £17 per person is way over the top (our offer included it) and they stop serving exactly when they say it shuts.
