I loved the location, refreshing pool dip, tortoise on site and the feel of the place created by the owner. And proper clotted cream and scones ready on arrival - such a lovely gesture. Thank you.

Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The facilities were amazing, however the places for food all shut before dinner time. (the latest shut at 5pm). The room was a good size and comfortable, however the bathroom was dirty.

Liz, our host, was lovely and the room was outstanding- beautifully decorated, spotless and with an amazing view. Breakfast was lovely and being so close to town was brilliant, along with still being peaceful. Lovely to chat with Liz about her time in the services and with my partner and her partners time in the parachute regiment, it was nice to share stories. We will definitely be back.

The room was very good and spotlessly clean. The en-suite shower room and toilet facilities were ok. The shower cabinet could maybe do with a tidy up.

Andrew and Elle made us really welcome and supporting staff were all excellent. Our Premium sea view room was spacious and spotless and included a fridge which was replenished with fresh milk and a bottle of water every day. Loved the walk in shower. There was a good range of cereals for breakfast and the full English was freshly cooked to order. Great home made granola! Comfortable lounge with well stocked drinks cabinet. Doors open up to a patio and pleasant garden.
