The property and location were brilliant. Even with all of the rain we had an excellent visit and definitely recommend. The host was on hand to meet us and also there when we left. There was milk and orange juice upon arrival which was a bonus, plenty of tea and coffee (including decaf, which not everywhere thinks of).

The pods are very unique. You have your own space that overlooks water. The sun setting every night was directly in front of the pod and was absolutely amazing. We met Skye the dog and the 2 cats and had a very interesting chat with the owner of the house regarding the dogs blue play toy! Amazing place to stay. We were there with my sister and her husband and it was one of the best stays in Scotland!!

Aurora retreat was an amazing cabin with stunning views and the weather was in its glory. Although access is mainly on one way roads with lots of sheep it added to its amazing charm. It’s close to lots of great spots of interest ( we visited Dunvegan castle, Neist lighthouse and Talisker whiskey. Three chimneys came highly recommended and absolutely didn’t disappoint.

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
Great cabin, amazing view. During low tide, you can see seals from the bed. Great kitchen supplies like sharp knives, high quality pans and pots in appropriate size and amount (which is not that common in other accommodations). Relaxing and quite atmosphere.
Very clean and cosy with great views of sea and rolling hills from chalet patio doors, super views. Everything needed was within property, owners Karen and John were on hand and happy to chat and assist with any enquiries or help when needed, dog friendly as well. 👍
Everything was perfectly clean and all the equipment provided (towel, kitchen facilities, even flip flops or hair dryer…)
The views were stunning and the cabin was very cosy.
Friendly welcome by the owners, astonishing view from the chalets! Everything was taken care of by the owners: clean chalet, some ‘homemade groceries’ like eggs, milk, scones and muffins. Well equipped (little) kitchen to cook simple meals. Barbecue (if you have better weather then we had 😃). Actually everything was ok!
Cabin set just back from the sea with seals basking on the rocks below. Sheep and lambs in the connecting field. Very tranquil and relaxing. Could have stayed longer.
The cabins were super cozy. The facilities were clean and had everything you could need. The shower was awesome. It was a lot hotter than I was expecting, which I loved.
We were in resonable driving distance to so many tourist sites, Neist Point, Old Man of Storr, The Fairy Pools, beaches, shops, etc.
The cabin was in an amazing location, very remote but beautiful, which is what we wanted! Although compact, the chalet was very well equipped for self catering and our hosts had provided us with milk and orange juice on our arrival. Also the heating had been left on so it was lovely and snug when we arrived quite late on a cold autumn evening! Our hosts were very helpful but didn't bother us at all.
