There was everything we needed at the property at the owner was very welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and they were so helpful with information about the local area and facilities that we needed to use. The property was so clean and was very comfortable too.

Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

I have been in this hotel before and I'll definitely going back there again. Rooms are very cosy, very well decorated and the staff are very friendly. The surroundings are magnificent even in the winter times. The restaurant and the bar are great for a perfect dining especially when you are near the fireplace.

Hilary and Graham are exceptional hosts. Really friendly and helpful. They were there to greet me when I arrived. So kind to give me lifts to nearby place to pick up dinner, and to the hospital where I had my training course. Interesting conversations. Love the fireplace with actual fire in the evening :) Very relaxing. Plenty of selections for breakfas - had full English breakfast + yogurt + homemade bread. Overall, really impressed with the experience and will choose to stay again if I'm in the region.

The room was lovely, I thought there was no full length mirror, but when i opened the wardrobe, there it was, with an iron, a hairdryer, a fan cooler, and a heater! There seemed to be no coffee making facilities, but then, below the bedside cabinet, discreetly placed, there it was! There was a lovely shower, bath, with all the toiletries en-suite, and we travelled with our dog, there was a goody box of classy treats for him. (Although he was £15 supplement) Staff were lovely, kind and welcoming
