The location is superb. One of the most beautiful places we have ever seen. Holiday park is nice and quiet. The Lodge was as expected clean and well maintained. Enclosed porch is great for dog owners. We will definitely visit again.

Really well equipped kitchen, plenty of utensils, glassware, plates, cutlery, baking trays and baking dishes, I think there was even a food processor.
Great to be able to bring our dog and I saw there were even dog bowls under the sink.
There were loads of little extra things that were super useful like cello tape, takeaway menus, loved that there were books, games and DVDs to borrow.
Very clear and helpful instructions and good communications during our stay.
For the price we had very low expectations but it was all really lovely! The swimming pool was truly lovely, all very modern and fitted out to a high standard, the bar area was lovely too, all very tasteful. Really friendly and helpful staff.

The property was extremely well equipped and the owners had thought of everything we needed including heated washing airer and everything we needed in the kitchen to cook family meals. A well laid out property and comprehensive information before our arrival about the property itself and surrounding area. Would not hesitate to book again. We were a group of 5 and there was plenty of room for everyone.

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
Nice location, clean and equipped with what we needed. Loved the cream tea left for us. We enjoyed the fireplace and smart TV which kept us pretty much entertained when we were too tired to go out. The Napoleon pub is just right opposite, we enjoyed our lunch and drinks there.
Very friendly staff. Warm welcome when checking in, all the way through to dinner and breakfast.

We loved that some of the property was still true to the old style, wooden beams, cosy rooms beautiful art works and surrounded by little bits of history.
The pub attached to the Hotel even had entertainment, we watched “buskers and friends” a combination of locals singing traditional songs and encouraging visitors to show off their skills a truly unique evening.
