I stayed here for one night with two friends and we loved our stay and wish we had stayed longer. The lodge was great, there were very clear arrival instructions and it had everything we needed and I loved the peaceful location, nature and lake views. It’s a 5 min drive to the nearest canal side pub and 10 mins drive from a Sainsburys. Hatton Locks canal is also nearby and Packwood House, both lovely to visit.

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. the room was good and very near the airport. We booked the hotel to visit the NEC rather than going flying, but i would book it again and is still good for the NEC with the little shuttle train which was running all the time so there was no build up of people waiting, did not have breakfast so cannot comment
The best about this hotel is the location just across from the airport entrance. The access to NEC Pavilion is great, the air shuttle takes you there in a couple of minutes.
Besides that, the hotel is fair, not great mattresses but nice towels and good amenities, nothing fancy.
Great hotel, with free shuttle bus to Birmingham airport and the NEC. Friendly, helpful staff. The rooms and beds are really comfortable, with nice food (a few vegan/vegetarian options). Large, covered outdoor smoking area with seats.
Loved the shuttle to the NEC, we were going to an event there so it was perfect!
