Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

Stayed in one of the lodges/chalets with our pooch. Very spacious accommodation with a little veranda to sit out on. On arrival, we were surprised to see a dog bed/bowls and treats were provided, a nice touch. Plenty of options at breakfast time including a sausage for the dog! We ended up staying an extra night.

Everything was perfect just like the last time I visited. I was upgraded to a bigger room, which was a really lovely surprise and gesture. Tina and Steve were very kind and helpful. Bought jams, apple chilli jelly and rhubarb chutney as gifts because they are so yummy. Thank you very much!!!

Lovely location, felt safe but we had enough privacy that it didn't feel like we were surrounded by other properties. The cabin was really cozy and had everything you could possibly need for a stay. It felt clean and well-maintained, and information was well sign-posted.

The hotel was a great location, right in the centre of town and less than a mile from the pier. There is a shuttle bus that stops right outside the hotel if you don’t/can’t walk. The family room was a perfect size. I liked that there was a sofa bed rather than bunks for the children. Lovely and clean and room was made up each day (rare since Covid in most hotels!). What stands out here though are the staff - they were all so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I couldn’t speak more highly of them.
