This is a house with an attached, locked-off studio. It is an old place which has not been renovated but has been cleaned up and simplified. The ambiance is 'form over function', that is, very pretty but nothing works well, and because it is not modernized, many facilities are basic rather than comfortable. The studio is large and has a lovely garden as promised. It suits 3 persons. There is no kitchen, just a hotplate and mini-fridge and microwave. A locked door separates them. The house itself has 3 bedrooms, all upstairs via a circular staircase, with toilets on both levels, and again, a lovely garden. The kitchen has been modernized with all new SMEG appliances, and adequate gear for cooking. It is all pretty with nice touches, but again, function has been sacrificed to the look.
The location, once you learn Tours, is very good. One does have to search for services though, as even a boulangerie is too far to walk; one needs a car for this residential neighbourhood.

It was a wonderful chalet with brilliant facilities. The pool was wonderful and the place was very well kept. Anne was extremely helpful and was very reachable. The property was one of the most beautiful places we have ever seen with everything you need for a break. We would love to visit again.

A very cozy and convenient chalet in close proximity to Amboise and Chateau Chenonceaux. Perfect for exploring the Loire Valley! Sarah was very nice, hospitable and full of knowledge about the environment. As a family with a one year old daughter (there were multiple playgrounds on the property as well) we couldn't have asked for more.

Great location, facilities and characterful rooms, friendly and accommodating staff.
For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
Ideal location close to railway station for our visits to the chateaus and close to shops restaurants
Very large room overlooking garden and shutters against the sun/heat
House of character

Room was just what you would want from a family run hotel in France. Roomy with a beautiful bathroom and shuttered window. The breakfast was a French breakfast plenty of fresh selection, no 'full English' Wonderful French bread, eggs, fruit, pastries, cheese, jams.
The location is perfect. Just on the edge of Old Tours. Cross over a bridge(quite a long one) turn right or left and there you are.
The Hosts, Pascal and his wife, are a delight. Friendly, helpful and caring. They were a joy.
Friendly welcome - upgraded room, complete cleanliness and well sound proofed room with working shutters, double glazing and curtains. Charming host and lovely breakfast of wide variety of buffet foods including croissants and yogurt, fresh fruit ham cheese. All staff were most helpful offering thoughtful service always with a gracious smile. Marvellous nights sleep; excellent bathroom facilities. Great location. Would definitely recommend a stay here.
We had a family room and I’d expected us all to be in together but we had two rooms, so a suite instead which was a great. Really comfortable, blacked out rooms with the shutters, really clean, a very helpful concierge when we got there. We stayed as part of a stopover en route from the south to Calais and it was a gem of a stay, a real bonus on our journey home. We would love to visit Tours again and would stay here.
A big bedroom and bathroom for the price
A king sized bed
The fan and wooden shutters to help with the very hot weather.
The friendly and welcoming and helpful staff.
The lovely courtyard entrance -quiet and peaceful arrival
Located very close to the town railway station and an easy walk to the most amazing Rue Colbert for restaurants and on into the old town.
