The place was really nice overall. It's located off a track just off a main road and is quiet, peaceful and picturesque. We were able to sit outside in the evening and enjoy some wine and cheese we had brought. Our host Dominique was very gracious despite our complete inability to communicate with her verbally!
For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
The flat was really charmy and elegant, situated in the center of Rennes, close to restaurants and bars. The owner was very kind and offered a free breakfast in the room. We loved the original parquet flooring, the lovely bedroom with the old fireplace and the pretty bathroom!!! We really had a pleasant stay!
We knew we were booking a small wooden box but we loved it. It had lighting and electric and was all we needed for just the one night. Toilets and showers were clean and close and the restaurant on site was great.
The pictures of the property are identical to real life. A really clean and stylish place with all the amenities you could ask for. One of the comfiest beds I’ve ever slept on and the shutter blinds provides both safety and completely blacks out the apartment. Really pleased that I decided to book this property for my 11 night solo stay in Rennes, as a young woman on my own I felt very safe here!
It had an actually working kitchen, utensils, dishes…a separate bedroom. Big double pane windows with good shutters to keep the light and noise out and make you feel safe.
Simple design but well thought of, practical, well ventilated bathroom.
Even though it was a ground floor it was very quiet.
Central location, lots of restaurants and cafés close by. A fancy supermarket inside the galerie Lafayette one minute away.
Easy check in and out.

My room was a bit small (you can feel a bit as stying in a ship cabin), but it is large enough for one staying for several days. The bathroom is nice with small bathtub. The breakfast is very good, even you can make freshly squeezed orange juice here. But what is really distinguished here - the decoration of public places - it was made with real love.
Quiet at the back (kitchen) with views over gardens, clean, large & bright, modern bedroom with comfy bed & hanging space, large window with electric shutters. Kitchen has toaster, electric kettle, coffee maker (pods), microwave & 2-ring hob despite it’s tiny size. Very good communication with the host.
