Chalet cosy et coconing, hotel in Lyon

Boasting a garden, private pool and garden views, Chalet cosy et coconing is situated in Meyzieu. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi.

It is a nice specious room with your own swimming pool. We weren’t too sure where we will stay but it is not the main house but summer house shown on the photos. It is nicely decorated and everything was very modern. Bed was comfortable and there were cooking facilities - nice to prep breakfast. Owner didn’t use the pool while we were there so it felt like our own swimming pool. Owner did his best to keep the pool clean but maintaining a pool is hard - we were aware of it.

All cabins in Lyon
Looking for a cabin?
For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

This hotel was perfect for one night whilst in transit. It is close to Lyon Part Dieu railway station and really near the airport shuttle, Rhône Exprès. Plus there are places to eat and a shopping mall within easy walking distance.

Nice property. One bedroom apartment as advertised. From the apartment and good size balcony great views over tops of historic buildings. Light filled apartment terrific during day. Shutters on windows for night-time use were very effective. TV set up took long time to work out. - could do with some instructions on how to use - but we did work out. Netflix access via our own login really great.

A functional apartment, with good linen and towels. The balcony was a bonus, as well as the shutters. It is close to the Rhone river.

While the rooms were quite small compared to North American standards, it provided all that was needed, e.g., large comfortable bed, bedside lights, small open area to hang a few items, large screen TV, good adequate breakfast. I believe the rooms were clean and tidy. With the window shut, the room is quiet and you barely hear the considerable traffic outside. What I did not like is provided in the next box as per request.

Everything, the apartment location was perfect. Close to the metro, restaurants in abundance and small supermarkets just a few minutes away. Just perfect in every way and it’s like coming home to your own little apartment. So French with white shutters etc. Perfect. The host was very helpful.

This petite hotel was an amazing choice for our 1 week stay. The room was quite small but cozy and had everything needed. We particularly enjoyed the tiny bathroom which reminded of a little toilet cabin in the train :) but it was nice because the hotel has its theme related to the Orient express train. We also liked the breakfast, it was quite basic but more than enough to start a day. Also the personnel was attentive and responsive to our requests. Highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Lyon!

Location and spaciousness. Great to have ground coffee, filters and coffee machine. A few essential toiletries and toilet paper sufficient for length of stay. Washing machine, good size fridge, iron etc. All usual home items great. Lift almost to same level. Wooden floors. Lovely new cabinetry - inbuilt drawers/ shelves/wardrobe. Fold out bed in intermediate room easily stored away during our stay so room could be used for suitcases and washing airing rack. Lovely apartment.
