Excellent communication from host. As the property was available, we could drop our bags early, which was a huge help. The property was cosy with plenty of interesting kitchen appliances (raclette machine, toasty/waffle maker, etc). Lots of heating to stay toasty, including a bathroom heater. The steamy hot shower was a particular highlight!! For a small studio, there was smart use of space and plenty of sleeping options (foldy bunkbeds that appear from the wall, and double sofa bed). Also had access to TV and channels... even some music speakers! Which was a nice touch. Cute decor throughout to make super cosy.

I stayed with my wife in a family studio with a balcony that has a million dollar view of the Alps. I was so fascinated that I spent most of the time on that balcony. It was a feast for the eyes. The log cabin was built according to the environment. Immaculately clean and comfortable studio with all the necessary things. We especially liked the host Michael. A young man who was always smiling, cheerful and very hardworking. For every bit of praise.

Located in the quiet outskirts of Bourg des L’Oisans, still with the village centre within reach. The place was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The mattress and bed were great. Exceptional location next to the base of the Alpe d’Huez and also for us it was a great base to explore the area.

I can’t be happier with this stay. Everything was just perfect! The chalet was super well equipped with all the necessary for a short or long stay, perfect for cyclists or any kind of visitors.

We stayed for 5 winter nights in this fantastic Chalet Barbara.
It's a very comfortable, spacey yet homely house, with 3 en-suite bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. Big windows, great views, comfy beds, and everything was very clean.
We really felt at home there. And most of all, Nicky is lovely and super helpful, which made our stay even easier.
The location is great, near the access roads of 2 ski resorts (2 Alpes and Alpe d'Huez), as well as near Bourg d'Oisans village.
We highly recommend this chalet!
Beautiful, quiet, and easy to get to town as well as start the famous climbs. Almost all the required facilities exist in the chalet.

The chalet is in a great location. It is nice and cosy and modern and has everything you need. François is the best host I’ve ever stayed with. He is very thoughtful, kind and caring. The breakfasts were really good, and the presentation of all of the food was exceptional. The chalet had a beautiful view of the mountains all around and the garden is lovely.
Superb accommodation - as good as it looks in the photos, it's modern, spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. Niki and Jacky were excellent hosts, extremely friendly & helpful, and have furnished the chalet with virtually everything you would need for a stay. Excellent location for exploring some big climbs and local rides by bike.
Although rustic and basic, this place still had the charm of mountain accommodation. The outlook is breath taking and the cabin was clean and had everything you need for an easy stay. We loved having a little more space than our last accommodation for our family of 5!
Town is a short walk away however we used the car as it was raining. The manager speaks a little English and is friendly and helpful.
