Au chalet Fleuri, hotel in Honfleur

Offering a garden and garden view, Au chalet Fleuri is situated in Ablon, 9 km from Honfleur's Old Harbour and 9.2 km from La Forge Museum.

Cozy little cottage with everything you need in a relatively small space. Very clean when we arrived as well. Relatively spacious kitchen area with plenty of utensils. Separated via a small bar is a small living area with a nice TV, a couch, and a table which is lovely to eat at if it's not possible to eat outside because the view is nice! In a corner is a small bed that's spacious enough for two people. The bathroom is big enough, even though the shower and toilet are 'interesting' (not necessarily bad, just something we were not used to). The location is remote, between a couple of houses but you virtually don't see those as the garden is huge. Lots of space to enjoy the weather, and a lot of birds and insects flying about. Very quiet! There's also a small outside area with some chairs and a table outside, connected to the house. Very nice to eat outside! Hosts are kind and responsive if you need anything.

All cabins in Honfleur
Looking for a cabin?
For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

We have stayed here before and picked this hotel because it is quiet and is only a short distance to the centre. Parking is safe as it is located by the chalet rooms or in the car park behind large locked gates. The breakfast room is clean and nicely decorated. Lovely flowers adorn the courtyard which makes it look very nice.

The receptionist I’m not sure her name but she was blonde and had glasses she was so lovely and welcoming and went above and beyond to making our stay very comfortable. She was working on the 13th of May until late at night and she even quickly got us drinks before she shut the main area to go to her room. It was very nice and quiet and a peaceful area! Which was lovely and the room came with a mini fridge and kettle and nice amenities. FREE PARKING is also fantastic

Basic hotel and small room but great location, excellent value and perfect for a brief stop-over. The room feels a bit like a cabin on a ship! Some paid parking outside.

Laurent, Francoise and Elize went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Our chalet was roomy and spotlessly clean, breakfast was full of choice and beautifully served, location was perfect.

The apartment is situated on a super central square in Honfleur and offers sufficient space for 2 individuals. The kitchenette is ideal for breakfast - equipped with a coffeemaker (pads), electric kettle and toaster. Cooking might be a challenge - it’s really tiny. Unfortunately the dishes were not at clean as one would expect them. We had to clean all of them before our first use. The bathroom is quite small but functional - bolder individuals might have difficulties in the narrow shower cabin. For a couple of days it’s acceptable.

A super quiet location with lovely gardens and outside space. A lovely large room with a good size comfy bed . We parked right next to our chalet. Breakfast was delivered each morning in a basket. Honfleur is too far away for a walk but just a 7/8 min drive by car. Parking in town was easy . I'd definitely go back !

A really pleasant place to stay and a nice welcome. The room was excellent and the shower perfect. Parking right outside the chalet was perfect. A longish walk or a short drive to the port and restaurants.

Ok, now I know the secret of low rating - it’s probably based on feedback from the guests who stayed on mansarde apparemment :) Cause it’s really dangerous for your had if you are not petite and it’s really uncomfortable to use. What was really good - the bed. Comfortable and clean. And view from the windows - but keep your head safe coming to this area. Shower cabin is claustrophobic, but it’s clean and water is hot, so ok. Electric heating is working good.

Only 15 minutes steady stroll to all the bars/restaurants in town centre. Really well equipped and good enough to self cater for a mini break. Large comfortable bed. Well equipped bathroom with lots of clean fluffy towels. External shutters great for keeping out the light.

This place blew my mind when we arrived.. beautiful site and buildings and interiors were luxuriously appointed sporting decent waterfall hot shower, electric shutters and inspiring eclectic furnishings and accessories. The pool looked tempting. Breakfast was traditional made up of local specialities and served either inside the room or outside (we ate outside.)
