For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
Lovely room, pretty large window opening onto gorgeous square. Dark shutters. Comfy bed. Roomy bathroom, great shower. Slept like the dead. Didn’t try breakfast. There’s a fab cafe just below the window did the job perfectly.
Great location between the airport and city, pool area was lovely and the hotel provided a free shuttle service to and from the city centre. The restaurant was excellent and so was the buffet breakfast.
It is a very nice hotel, the decor is a little dated and rooms very dark. But comfortable and clean. It also has a fridge in hotel room. location is a few kilometres out of town, so if you don’t have a car a taxi is €10, also the hotel has a shuttle bus leaving hotel every hour 10 am to 1 pm and 5 pm til 8 pm which is a really great service. We stayed here for the pool which is nice, we had an enjoyable stay. Staff were very friendly.
The property was well located, outside the tourist areas of Santiago. It was close to the train station and bus shuttles to the airport. The hotel was well priced.
Wonderfully quiet. Comfortable mattress. Rainshower and bidet in the bathroom (rare these days). Wooden shutters on the windows to really block out the light. Polite, professional staff.
5 minutes' walk to the cathedral. Lots of bars and restaurants close by. 8 minutes' walk to the nearest supermarket (Froiz). 15 minutes' walk to the train station (Bus to the airport for €1 !)
Highly recommended.
Beautiful historic building with an austere serene atmosphere. Loved the original stonework and wooden window shutters. Clean and comfortable.
Located close to the cathedral and a fitting place from which to set out on our camino journey.
Reception staff very helpful with a quiet calm manner.
We left early and didn't stay for breakfast
A memorable experience.
Great condition and room size. Comfort of the beds and general cleanliness never disappoint.
Central location. As I always stay in this accommodation during winter, there is no outside noise. There's a bar downstairs but the wooden shutters in the room should help keep out most of the noise.
Location is great. Rooms were nicely decorated (rustic). Wooden shutters for darkness. Free Netflix on the big screen. Good shower. Big comfy bed. Good size wardrobe.
the location was excellent. lots of hot water. the wooden window shutters. plenty of bedding
