Very nice house with 3 terraces, parking on the property, all you need is in the house (A/C, TV with international channels, ... ), very close to the long and beautiful beach of Alcudia, very nice restaurant next street, supermarket close by.
For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
The location is very good, and the shuttle bus arranged by the hotel from the airport to the hotel was good at 20 euro and dropped me close by. I have stayed at the Capri maybe 3-4 times and its best feature is the island jetty were you can take breakfast. Rooms are mixed without a view disappointing (single room). Staff are friendly, breakfast good.
We made a mistake when selecting the number of people staying in the room and staff was kind enough to sort it out, charging standard room price but giving us a premium room. It was big, 2 bedrooms, air con, kitchen and a terrace seating area with the Serra da Tramuntana view. Airport bus shuttle leaves you at the Duva Hotel door. Excellent stay!
Comfy beds, nice dark rooms because of the shutters. Very clean, and clean linens and towels. Good hot water pressure in the shower (small hot water cylinder though). Close walk to the beach. Lots of kitchen cooking supplies, but no salt, pepper, or oil. Beach supplies (towels, umbrellas, toys) a wonderful surprise. Washing machine and clothes rack a bonus, iron and ironing board. Quiet area. Shops within easy walking distance. Short drives to Pollença and Acúdia.
Padel courts were great although have to pay to use them. Hotel was in a decent location about a 20 min walk into port de pollenca and they also have a shuttle bus in the evenings which is good. Only a 10 min walk to a big supermarket. Pool/bar staff were super friendly!! Would recommend the Bodegas Can Vidalet vineyard tour nearby.
There were a variety of pools to suit everyone. Family entertainment was nice. The rooms were kept clean by the staff each day and clean towels when you needed them. There was a restaurant on site where the food was nice. There was a shuttle bus to the beach each day.
The host Astrid is what makes this Apartment complex special. It is a small family run complex which feels a bit like home. It is very well located close to shops, the beach and the bus station in a nice quiet area. Nothing was a problem for our host Astrid who gave us lots of tips and recommendations and even took food out of her own kitchen the night we arrived which was very late and all shops & restaurants were shut!
Excellent location , quiet area but short walk to the sea front & restaurants and 5 mins to bus stop for Pollensa old town . Spacious living & kitchen area , well equipped. Black out shutters on all windows ( a must for me ! ) Pleasant terrace with artificial grass & seating which was in the shade in the afternoon, a relief from the sun . Very comfortable mattresses . We had a small problem with one of the air conditioning units but was quickly resolved with prompt replies from the host .
