This comfortable, traditional style hotel is in position A on the busy harbour - ideal for people- and boat-watching, not least from the elevated restaurant and Corner Cafe. The food was excellent, and room maintenance exemplary. The hotel, with its boat and rail connections is ideal as a base to explore the Bodensee, Liechtenstein and also the Schubertiade at Hohenems/Schwarzenberg and Bregenzer Festspiele (there is a direct shuttle from the harbour at Lindau to the Seebuhne at Bregenz on opera nights).
Situated in the Old Town the buildings are naturally old.
This Hotel has been fully renovated to a modern standard, but still kept some quirkiness. Wooden ceilings, can be low, wooden floors, interesting furnishings...all very tasteful.
I felt very comfortable.
Breakfast was bvery nice buffet, and you can get mķorder.
They even have little bottles of Prosecco.
Quirky concept delivered to a high standard, both inside and out. Lots of love has been poured into this unusual hut. Stayed with my young daughter who was delighted with the experience.

Very comfortable beds and nice room. Staff helpful and friendly. Good choice at breakfast. Lots of parking. Good sound proofing from road noise and I liked having shutters.
The breakfast display was wonderful and there was a lovely amount of options. Service from staff was brilliant all were friendly and helpful. Specifically Ms Brugger herself - even when reception was shut and we were late for check in due to trains everyone was super helpful! Just wonderful! The room was very nice, comfy and met all of our needs! Having the little balcony/terrace was lovely!
This is second time I visit this hotel, all perfect: nice and clean rooms with kettle for coffee and tea, excellent breakfast, nice staff.. but there is something I found first time in Germany: windows with shutters! For italian people is normal to have them, but in Germany they are not so used.. so.. compliments for the idea! I really liked it
