For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
great design, clean, friendly staff
There is a vent for fresh air in the cabins this could be the only issue for people - as I like to sleep very cold.
and a beautiful + clean group bathroom
highly recommended
Nice personnel that could help me with all my requests. I really liked the cabin itself. Even though it doesnt have much space and you need to wiggle a bit to enter the cabin if you have a lot of luggage, the cabin is well equipped and the bed is comfortable. I didnt hear any noise at night, so I think they are also well isolated.
The shared shower/sinks/toilets tend to get quite full, but I didnt have problems finding free ones.
Really interesting concept. It reminds on a hostel environment but better than that. Common room at the rooftop and restaurant are two options if you want to chill. Rooftop really nice arranged. Bathrooms clean and provide enough private space. If you are interested in cabin concept, definitely give it a try.
it was my first time ever staying in a cabin hotel and it was fine. the room/cabins are as seen in the pictures: well designed, but compact and tight. I can't imagine staying there for more than 2 nights. it's perfect for travellers that pack light. the communal bathroom was clean and nicely sectioned. it had plenty of shower rooms and sinks that were modern and easy to use, much like the locker room in a gym. the staff was helpful and warm, and the check in process very smooth.
Very well-located and inexpensive option for solo travelers. There is a vending machine with bathroom amenities at a fair price. The bed was comfortable and noise was never an issue (the room was right in front of the shared toilet for my floor). The key is an RFID-abled wristband which is used for cashless payment as well. I hope the cabin concept is popularized in Europe.
If you've stayed in a cabin hotel before, you'll know roughly what to expect. Showers and toilets were clean, the upstairs lounge and terrace was really good and very welcome on a hot day! The bed was comfortable and staff friendly. It's very handy for the Alster and the bars of Lange Reihe. Wristband payment system works well.
The family room was comfy, clean, and cozy. We had our own kitchen and shower cabin. Anita was super friendly and helpful. She responded promptly to our questions and kept in touch. The hostel is close to the city center, and the bus stop is just a few steps away.
Beautiful design of the cabins, cute rooms and clean sheets, towels. Friendly staff, close to the train station.
