Everything, including the location of the chalet and views. For the first in Europe, stay in the chalet felt like home from home. Overall experience was much better than I expected. We have enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the trains after we returned in the evening. Rebecca was the perfect host, and she has provided everything we need during our stay. The location is great especially if you want to take a cable car up to Männlichen, because the station is just next to your door. It's a few hundred meters from the train station. Mandi (host) is very helpful. The view from the balcony is amazing. The room is fully equipped for cooking, but, unfortunately, we don't cook (haha). The hot water works as it should be. We need it especially when it's 1-6c when we arrive. If you're an avid runner, try running Lauterbrunnen and come back. It's another nice village that you will love it.
Located on 2,061 metres above sea level and only reachable via a rack railway, the Lodge Bergrestaurant Kleine Scheidegg is located directly under the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains.

We stayed in the 'Lager' (shared dorm room) - it was quiet, clean and safe. Breakfast was hearty and plentiful as was dinner, service was great, staff helpful. There is a cafe-bar downstairs with outside seating, great for Eiger-gazing. Don't forget to purchase your 50% off SBB travel card.
Consisting of 3 separate chalets, the CityChalet is located next to the Aare River, 300 metres from the centre of Interlaken.

City Chalet was exceptional! We booked 4 apartments for our guests for our wedding. Everyone loved the apartments, they were the perfect size and great for such a big group of people.
The hosts were incredible, they kept us up to date and provided great information.

No doubt that this chalet was one of the highlights of our 2 week trip to Europe. We stayed 6 nights but wanted to stay 6 months. Clean and very well laid out apartment. Very comfortable beds, great kitchen and 1 1/2 baths with a great shower. But, the most amazing thing is the VIEW. Waking up to the Alps and cool air. Breathtaking. Host was very responsive and accommodating. Also, the location is super convenient...right near the train station.
Stunning location with views to die for, superb traditional Swiss Chalet hotel, great food, super friendly staff, really comfortable room and handy for the cable car. So quiet and peaceful yet well placed for all the amenities. Even a sauna to relax any aching muscles after an Alpine walk!!
Very comfortable Chalet with a well appointed kitchen. We were collected and dropped off at the BLM station which was so handy. Fabulous views of the mountains and para gliders flying by. Short walk to Coop supermarket. Great washing machine. Friendly and helpful owners
The dining room is a beautiful old fashioned spacious area with lovely wooden furniture. The breakfast was very good and we had delicious flammkuchen on the terrace. Staff was efficient, good service.
