The place is very cosy and charming.
The wood heating is very efficient although I could understand that some people may find lighting a fire to be a bit challenging.
The bedrooms remained nice and cool which we love.
The downside for groups could be the fact that there is only one (very lovely) bathroom, but for a couple or small (young) family its perfect.
Although the original building goes back to 1699 it has aged very well and has been nicely renovated by the owner.
There is an outdoor charger for electric cars, but we didn't use it (check with owner first).

The location and chalet were superb - the view is outstanding, the jacuzzi enjoyable and the chalet was very comfortable with most everything we needed. The bed is so comfortable too. The hosts were exceptional in their desire to help, provide us transport into town or the train station and generally be available. The view is breath-taking as soon as you get out of the front door. It’s close to shuttle thats often free and you can have access to the water very easily. The common space is really warming too, I had the best game of table football of my life with friends I met there!

The chalet is located in the midst of the Swiss mountains surrounded by greenery and beautiful view of the Lake and the city of Montreux. The chalet itself is very cozy, made of wood and has a beautiful garden and a nice restaurant overlooking the valley.
Great restaurant, very nice food and amazing views from the terrace. We stayed in a basic room "chalet" with no bathroom/toilets (in the hallway). This part of the building is rather old and has a lot of squeeky floors and loud doors, so the nights are not very quiet when there are other people staying in this part. Other than that it's a very nice place to spend a night and enjoy the surroundings.
The location is just perfect - 200m from the station and a 2 minute walk from the lake
The beds were very comfortable and the space is perfect - great having kitchen facilities as well as a living room to relax in.

Amazing location with beautiful views. We had to take the cog train to & from Montreux which was an adventure in itself. True swiss chalet experience. Would visit again.
