This was our first visit to Switzerland from the UK and we couldn’t have picked a better, or more beautiful place and house to stay in. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay, the location is EVERYTHING! Although you are right on the water at Brienz and people walk by, you still feel entirely private and so privileged to have the wonderful view.
Monique was the best host we’ve ever had and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this amazing home. Truly special!!!!

Beautiful cosy chalet with mountain views. A short walk from the Wilderswil train station and very close to the bus stop. A central spot to get to Interlaken, Lauterbrunnen, Jungfraujoch and more. There are sign-posted walks throughout the area. I'd love to go back!

easy to find. host was quick to communicate. (always prefer someone to meet us with the key and that's the only reason 'staff' didn't get 10/10). clean and comfortable. excellent location to get to restaurants, boats, co-op, bank, info centre etc. view of the gorgeous lake from the window. ample paid parking nearby.
Studen, a property with ski-to-door access, is situated in Grindelwald, an 11-minute walk from Ski Lift Grindelwald Grund-Holenstein, as well as 2 km from Firstbahn.

Hotel Chalet has the best location. The view outside the hotel was spectacular with Lake Brienz and tall mointain as the backdrop. The staff were siper friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was exceptional. If you want a relaxing get away, go to Iseltwald and stay in Hotel Chalet du Lac. It's a place to be.
It was right at the lake and the cafe, next to the main building, where you can get most help easily!
The cabin looks old…. But it has everything you need to cook at home… so we enjoyed the experience living in the cabin. Thank you!!
Nice chalet with a beautiful view from the room. The room was big and charming. They also provided us with a kettle because the restaurant was closed that day.
This was an Absolutely Fantastic Hotel with one of the most beautiful settings I have ever seen, right on the blue green waters of Lake Brienz. The rooms we’re charming. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The view of the chateau across the water with the Alps in the background was beyond spectacular! I absolutely recommend paying extra for a room with a view of the lake. The experience of total tranquility combined with the coziness of the Swiss chalet style room was priceless.

One of my favorite hostels. The woman working the desk was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and had a sink. They were just big enough to fit everything in without being too crowded. The entire hostel smelled like a summer cabin on a lake. It's location is beautiful but truly in the middle of nowhere. Feels a little bit like a much nicer summer camp cabin.
Very cozy chalet with an amazing location and a super nice view of the lake. We went to this hotel to go for the hot tug just in front. It's a floating hot tub in the brienzsee, it was amazing, I definitely recommend doing this along with a stay in the hotel!
Cosy, clean and warm swiss chalet room; with a beautiful lake view. Greeted with kind and lovely front desk staff that were super helpful. A kettle can be provided on request. The chalet is a five minutes walking distance from the bus stop. A tourist card is also provided at the desk for free transportation around the area and discounts on some tourist spots.
