Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

The hotel is conveniently located in the old part of town and itself is in a renovated old building showing a few traces of the original wooden beams. While a bit cramped for space, the bedroom was of adequate size for a couple for one night, as was the bathroom.

Good central location within the old town and only a 5 to 10 minute easy walk to the railway station. Handy to shops, bars and only metres from the excellent Capricorn restaurant. The room was large and bright with shutters that kept the room dark early in the morning.

It was my first "camping" experience, and I was impressed. Great location. Very clean, very comfortable beds, linens. Small room in the wooden house we stayed was warm and very nicely located (just in front of shared WC/SHOWER/KITCHEN/WASHING area). Parking of the car was just next to our house. Camping staff was very friendly and made us a fantastic breakfast next morning.

The facilities in the room were five star standard - esp the electronic shutters in the morning

Location is wonderful. I took a double bedroom for the bigair chur and it is very convinient. You can take bus n2 or the special shuttle from the main train station. the room was very clean, with complementary water, coffee and tea.

Location was great, room was very comfortable, bathroom was excellent. I loved overlooking the river, and hearing it with the window open. But when I shut the window for sleeping, the room was very quiet. I am not a breakfast person so didn't try that.

We had a very basic cabin, which was comfortable and ok for a couple of nights but there was a lack of facilities available for use. There was a shared camp kitchen but no pots and pans and no kettle and no fridge to put food/drinks in.

We were completely blown away by this hotel! It's not overly luxurious or anything but it was like stepping back in time with the wooden interior and low ceilings and had such an authentic feel which we loved. The room had plenty of space and a nice view over the terrace. Location is perfect with a short walk to the station and so many options to eat in the old town. Couldn't recommend it high enough

the bathrooms were clean, our little “cabin” was comfortable and albeit twin beds, my dad who is 6ft3 slept just fine. All of the staff and neighbors were very nice and friendly. It was an easy trip to get to the center and wonderful to hear the birds in the morning. Another bonus was it was great for our two dogs!

Excellent location, lovely decor, and very friendly service makes this hotel so nice to stay at! Located on the way to the major ski resorts, it’s very convenient to reach and perfect for vacations when it’s just too busy. The decor is Swiss chalet style, but modern and the rooms have everything you’d need for a comfortable stay. Comfortable beds, decent breakfast, and a nice welcome were definitely a highlight.
