Offering barbecue facilities and garden view, Charmant Petit Chalet 3 étoiles en Gruyère is situated in Crésuz, 40 km from Forum Fribourg and 48 km from Train station Montreux.
For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
The views from the balcony were exceptional. The chalet is spacious and beautifully constructed. The property is located in a rural position offering peace and tranquillity. Our host Irina was detailed in her instructions in how to locate both the chalet and the isolated collection point for the keys and maintained good communication before and during our stay.
Many things to point out. I liked the charm of an old (but nicely restored) chalet from the 18th century, the calmness of the neighborhood, the view on the church and overall the views on the mountains, the freshness of the nights that diverge from overheating cities in summertime, the proximity with all the commodities of the nice and clean mountainous small town with polite people. A very relaxing holiday time with the possibility to make many activities, have a good time and get nice memories. I shall definitely go back. God willing.
Absolutely amazing chalet, it is visible, that the property was made with love. Breakfast was really good, the price is absolutely reasonable.

A beautiful, peaceful place, within a five-minute drive to the village. A very well-renovated chalet. The breakfast was made with delicious, fresh local products and the host was very welcoming and friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone and hopefully go back there again.
the Chalet ist Big and well situated! for a family of 7 it is excellent! the best part in the summer of course is the large, fenced off garden- perfect for the children to run in and out all day!
A lovely place to stay, with traditional chalet accommodation. About 7 minute walk to the train station and co-op. Located right near the snow park with sledding in winter!
The location is fabulous. The chalet has everything you need, for the most part. (no dish soap or dishwasher soap though!) It is cozy and comfortable. The balcony is stupendous, with an incredible view.
As we were two friends travelling together, we had to contact the owner after we arrived, as only one room had been made up. He responded right away and directed us to the sheets. This turned out not to be the correct location, so we had to make do with twin sheets on the master bed.
