For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
The location is great for a trip from Peterborough - to - Dartmouth as it makes a good one night stop over. It would also be excellent for a vacation stop with kids and pets as there is a lovely park and walking area and individual cabins for a family or two.
The location was very convenient for us. We enjoyed the lawn in the middle of the cabins for walking barefoot in the morning dew. It was quiet and we had a magnificent view on the "fleuve d'argent". We enjoyed the fresh air.
The location on a peninsula is fantastic. All of the cabins have decks with river views and the sunset from the deck or the motel property right by the river was beautiful. Accommodations are dated but as expected and comfortable.
Amazing views! Clean cabin that has been well maintained. Staff member was friendly, helpful and kind. Gave a wonderful restaurant suggestion. Free muffins on arrival.
The room (actually a cabin) was delightful! My husband and I were travelling with our adult granddaughter. The two bedrooms were so lovely and private! Everything was spotlessly clean.
Our cabin had everything we needed including cooking meals. Really loved the open outdoor area to stretch our legs and simply be outside especially after driving for a full door. Watching the sunset was a highlight.
