For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
A perfect place to stay and relax. I booked a jacuzzi suite, which also had a gas fireplace and seating area. It was comfortable and roomy. I wasn't expecting hot items (eggs, sausages, baked beans) at the breakfast - a nice surprise. The location was great - close to both the major grocery stores and on the west side of Hinton so easy access to the mountains. I plan to stay here again.
This was our second time staying at Hinton lodge. We stayed at King bed with jacuzzi room this time as well and we really enjoyed our room as it was spacious, clean and so relaxing. It came with a fireplace, jacuzzi and kitchen sink, cupboards and some wineglasses. Free breakfast was another nice additional touch we loved! Special thanks to Sheila at the front desk as she was very attentive and friendly staff and she went above and beyond to make sure our stay was excellent. We look forward to coming back again!
Room was equipped with an electric fireplace, big TV and Jacuzzi. It was so spacious also! So nice to soak in the bath after a busy day in the mountains.
Glassware and real coffee cups not plastic or paper i n room. Hot breakfast was one of the best we've had that is included with room. Comfy king bed and you can open the window that allows you to shut the AC off at night for a quiet sleep.
