This location is literally A DREAM!! The room was so cosy and clean, great bathroom with direct access to the outside part, the pool area is very spacious and cosy as well, the jacuzzi can switch color with the lights, and the outside kitchen was the cherry on top! The whole setting is just so romantic. Surrounded by nature, bird sounds and still very close to the center of Trancoso. Definitely a 10/10! Above all of this the owner of this dream place is the sweetest!! Thank you so much Livia for our unforgettable stay at your accommodation. Great couple who run the place, very friendly and nice. Very good breakfast and the place is really sweet and delicious. Owners don't really speak much english, but you can get by.
For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
Immediately you will be taken by the lovely, elegant decor at the chalet . You will be even more taken by the cleanliness! It’s not often you find such a lovely spot in Caraiva. You can also be sure check-in will be easy and accessible. The commute to the town was a charming boat ride.
This was easily the cleanest, prettiest, and most pleasant stay with an we’ve had in Bahia
I would absolutely recommend Flor do Rio place to anyone that frequents Bahia, or even the adaptable first-timer!

Do Satu Beachclub was fantastic. Cabin with amazing views, simple but good. All you need with jungle feel. The family behind it, the staff, the beach all fantastic. Very good food, cocktails and service. Music was insane! DJ and live singing. Visit after you have settled a bit and adjusted to the Bahian vibe! Would love to tweak the place a little to barefoot chic luxury.
