In this way, I would like not only to give a review to other people interested in accommodation with Melanie and Alexandra Waldhauser, but also to thank them for a very pleasant winter vacation. With three small children (2, 5 and 6 years old and 4 adults), the accommodation is the perfect solution. You will find everything you need here. Toys for children, a garden with a playground and ponies, perfectly equipped accommodation and kind and nice owners. Nearby (Hochötz 10 min. by bus or car) is great skiing (2000 - 2700 m), including a professionally run children's ski school. There are many hiking trails near Umhausen that I would like to take in spring or fall (waterfalls, Niederthai village, etc.)

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
Everything is perfect! Delicious food, friendly stuff good decorated rooms and Restaurant. But The hotel is in an area above the main road, accessible by a private shuttle. It is very difficult to arrive with your own car if it snows heavily.

Amazing experience, the thermal pools were something out of this world. Being able to swim in heated waters while its snowing above you is an unforgettable experience. Our chalet were spacious and comfortable. SPA wonderful, special SPA3000 very lux.
The house is spacious and tidy. Fireplace is key feature of this house! It is very warm and there is huge amount of firewood available. We lit it every day so the house was really cozy. BBQ is available on the terrace. Beds were comfy. Communication with the host (Barbara) was very pleasant and swift. Huben in general is very quite and delightful village. There are 2 good restaurants, supermarket and hiking trails starting almost from the door :) Soelden is 12 minutes by car or 15 by bus.
Very nice and cozy location near to ski bus station. I really appreciated the wellness facilities - sauna and infrared cabin in the location. The communication with the personal was very nice and easy due to iPad and application. I really appreciate the Aqua Dome discount and the possibility to order fresh bread or other product direct to the tablet.

Very nice and modern apartment, top clean, well equipped kitchen, great host, many little details as positive surprises (beautiful wooden beds, coffee, storage room, decorations, ... ).
The apartment is very fresh, bright and spacious. Sleeping mattresses are great, the kitchen is fully equipped, we also got a huge terrace with an amazing mountains view just for ourselves. It was very cozy as well, especially when Conny visited to set up the fireplace. For the ones skiing/snowboarding: there is a separate room (shared by the whole house), where you can put your boots on a heated sticks and also leave ski/board. Super convenient!
Great place to stay, the views over the mountains were stunning. Lovely wooden furniture, embroidery by the bed, very comfortable bed. Breakfast was great, was extra, but worth it as was meats, cheese, eggs, fruit, delicious bread and coffee. Staff were very friendly and helpful too.
Staff (nice, kind, smiley), food (beautiful dinner dishes and nice touch with soup and salad after skiing), comfort, easy access, heated boot rack, closeness to the ski bus stop...
1/2 hour from Sölden by ski bus, 1/2h by car from Gurgl and Khutai..
Hotel Stern was beautifully presented, clearly with substantial investment continually being put in, with traditional chalet features yet in a contemporary way.
