For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

The vibe was amazing. The wooden ceiling was beautiful. The owners were very helpful and friendly. Very atmospheric and cozy place with a historic old fashioned look but still modern and clean. One of the most unique places I have ever stayed in.

Aria Baci is a good place to stay a few nights in Berat. The location in the old town provided excellent views and a historical ambiance with its stone walls and wooden floors. We had access to a shared fridge and a private room and bathroom.

We had a great time at Villa Tabaku in Berat. The people there were super friendly and took care of us from the moment we got there until they helped us get to the airport with their shuttle service. Petro, the host, even gave us free shots of homemade rakia, a traditional Albanian drink. The WiFi was really good, not just in our room but also on the balcony. We totally recommend Villa Tabaku if you're visiting Berat.

We loved this place! Everything was perfect. Very clean and spacious room, mattress is great, and there is a good rolling shutter so it's dark in the morning. Just a short walk to town and quiet neighborhood. Besides all that, the family are simply legends. Amazing hospitality and they were so sweet. Did 3 laundries for us, and we got a whole back of oranges and mandarins from their garden when we left. Hope to be back here soon.

Terrace view was nice. Ardit let us pick some fruits from trees. Breakfast was maybe too small for me but it was tasty - it included some home made jam and bread. Ardit is very helpful and communicative - he can answer anything and give some useful tips. We also tried some home wine. Place in general is also ok - some folklor interiors, wooden beds and windows - some may not like it though. I can truly recommend.

The staff were so lovely and welcoming. The location was fantastic as you could see the old town from your window. The town was only a short walk away. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good. The decor was really cool- wooden walls. The bathrooms in the room were really new.

We stayed 1 night in a double bedroom on the 1st floor. This was a very nice room. Very hygienic and clean. A good and spacious shower, and a waterproof cabin. :) Very helpfull staff aswell! Big terrace with view over the whole city. Owners were very nice. Big and nice breakfast with home made fried pasterices and homemade marmelade. The owner Naku can take you the excursion to the beautiful canyons cheaper than the others agencies it you stay in his guesthouse. The bathroom was clean and we liked the big shower with a cabin (not so usual in Albania at low cost accommodation). We also went to eat a pizza in the family run bar in the city centre.
