Convenient location and great that it's pet friendly
The room was clean and tidy. The kitchen facilities were great, and the lounge area also very nice. The location is perfect. A great budget friendly option in the Mt Cook village.
The complex itself is unique and delightful. Close to the city and other destinations including the airport. Free parking of which there was plenty available. Friendly staff. Spacious room. Restaurant and Bar facilities were convenient and good quality.

We had a double bed room near the top of the building, so I can only say about that. Which was a very nice apartment, kitchen and living area all very clean and comfortable as were the beds. Nice views from a higher up room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was close enough to the centre with the shops and restaurants that it was an enjoyable walk. They offer a cheaper shuttle bus service to the airport which is helpful if travelling on a budget. But they were also able to order us a taxi. Hotel great.

Bed was super comfy. Nice and quiet location. Host was friendly and very keen to please. Bathroom had been refurbished. Was only needing somewhere cheap to sleep as was busy all day, and this suited the budget for a 3-day stay.
Really pleasantly surprised with this hostel! I loved the little capsule pods, the privacy was really welcome, especially the blinds. the whole place has been well thought out with all the added decorations, and the communal area was great to relax in! huuuuge communal area with different sorts of seating and huge kitchen! it's perfect for access to the airport, my flight ended up getting cancelled but i was still glad i booked such a great hostel! Staff were so friendly also.
Super convenient to the airport, huge social area, comfy pods and the staff are really friendly
Been a while since we’ve been to the South Island and with our stay at Airport Gateway it was a quick reminder of how friendly the people are. There was a free shuttle that picked us up from the airport (we were on a late flight) so super convenient. Have stayed in so many places around NZ and funnily enough, this one (which is probably one of the cheapest) was probably one of the best. Definitely will be booking again if we’re ever back in ChCh.
