Extremely convenient location, quiet individual pods, clean facilities, comfortable beds. It made the experience of staying at a capsule hotel quite luxurious and set a high bar for my other stays in Japan.
The private room was fantastic considering that most of my trip has been in capsule styled rooms. The price was also very fair and you'd be hard pressed to find a private room for cheaper. I loved having a private AC that I could control as most other places had a shared one people had to fight over. The staff were also very friendly and spoke English which is fantastic cause my Japanese is very poor. I enjoyed spending time hanging out in the lobby chatting with the other guests and making friends.
1. Convenient (within 5 minutes from Suehirocho and Akihabara stations) 2. Decent amenities (in-room and in-hotel), with some freebies (e.g. unlimited free drinks in the lounge) 3. Room area, compared to some other capsule hotels, is quite well-lit and ventilated, and doesn't have any musty smell. 4. Cheap breakfast (500 JPY only)
Conveniently placed, women-only capsule hotel near Akiba station. The capsules are good if a bit too warm, but there’s lots of bathrooms dotted around the building and a downstairs lounge for eating. No microwave, but there’s boiling water and vending machines. The downstairs shower room has laundry machines (both washer and dryer) and pyjamas are included as part of the linen. Everything gets changed every day (you can’t opt out) and they clean the place from 10-4 so you can’t hang out during the day.
This capsule hotel was the first place we stayed in Tokyo for two nights. The sleeping pods are well designed, with a pull down screen, comfortable bedding, convenient and thoughtful areas to put your items and clothing. The lockers were sizeable, able to fit big suitcases. The room itself had multiple toilets, never had to wait for them despite a full room. The shower and onsen facilities were wonderful and convenient to use, also open all night so you can usually be by yourself if you wanted to! Breakfast was convenient, and tasty.
Convenient no frills capsule hotel in Shinjuku. Close to metro, very comfortable mattress and pillow. The sleep area is quiet as packing and showers are on another floor altogether. Japanese toilet on every floor
Well placed, clean and comfortable. Staff were great. My family wanted to experience a Japanese capsule hotel and this didn’t disappoint!
Very conveniently located near Shibuya. It was my first experience with a capsule hotel and I was very happy with it. The capsules feel private. It's very quiet in there. There are small lockers for each person which can fit a carry on bag and shoes. Bathrooms and facilities were very clean. Showers were always free and available when I used them. Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel provided. I felt really safe there. Staff were friendly and check in and out were very easy.
Convenient location, modern and clean capsule hotel with good separation of genders by floor. I felt safe and comfortable, the staff was very kind and helpful, and the other guests were friendly, polite and quiet. I would definitely stay again.
1. No daily check out when staying more than one night = can stay and leave belongings in the capsule 2. Clean and modern facilities 3. Private shower rooms (some Japanese capsule hotels only have public bath that everyone goes in naked) 4. Bathrooms and lockers are conveniently located on the same floor near all the capsules (some capsule hotels have them on separate floors) 5. Friendly fellow foreign travelers 6. Near a train station (but a small one so not that may train lines pass)
