Looking for a capsule hotel?
Developed in Japan, these cheap 'pod' hotels are a novelty for any traveller. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodation is basic and intended to be overnight. There is separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms — some capsule hotels also have a sentō, a Japanese bath house, often for male guests only.

Great location in town close to the airport and the Waterfront Park, Went to run the marathon and was a great location to get to the start of the race and to get after the race. The room is confortable and although there is a lot of noise outside by the passing planes and trains I was able to sleep without a problem, the rooms have good sound proof. The hotel is a budget simple place and you get what you pay, don't expect luxury but is safe, clean and quiet.

The staff at Old Town Inn were very friendly. The place was very clean. We loved the interior and exterior design of the motel. It is very beautiful. The location of this motel is very convenient as it is close to public transport and shops. We caught the train from LA to Old Town train station and it is only a 5 minute walk from the train station to the motel. Breakfast was also included in our stay and it was delicious.

Breakfast was great- no fuss, the brown bag was a good idea. The provision of the Vending Machine for hot drinks was greatly appreciated. Thr check in and out was smooth and done within minutes and staff was friendly. Excellent location as we could move around easily. Little Italy was within walking distance where plenty of food choices.

Entry is via key code therefore very easy and convenient. The apartment was spotless, inviting, comfortable and the host extremely friendly and always available. The apartment is a few minutes from Liberty station and is easy access to downtown, several beaches, good restaurants, and grocery shopping. Street parking is available.

It is a quite old hotel, however it is clean and cozy. The staff is very friendly. The parking lot is convenient and cheap ($10 per night). Check-in and check-out were so easy!

Conveniently located close to the tram. It was super quick to get to Comic-Con but was way cheaper than places closer to the convention centre. The owner/manager was very friendly and the courtyard was pretty. I liked the quirky antique-y feel of the place and the air conditioner was very effective, despite it being an older building.
